The Andrew K. Dwyer Award

The Andrew K. Dwyer Foundation is and has always been a volunteer organization. Over the past 23 years, so many people have helped us in so many ways- dedicating their time and energy to help a fledgling organization create a legal structure, a web site, a financial plan, and all those things that form the basic structure that the Foundation enjoys today. But it did not stop there, our volunteer efforts have continued all these years to create a culture that certainly would have made Andrew so proud. Whether it be identifying needs, running in marathons, organizing or participating in small outings,sponsoring events, or helping to organize Doggday our volunteers now almost 1,000 strong have always been our backbone. Their efforts and financial generosity enable us to help so many wonderful deserving young children.
